Kerry Palakanis, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a nationally recognized health care executive, nurse practitioner, and nurse entrepreneur with more than 35 years of clinical experience as a family nurse practitioner. She has led the development and expansion of multi-site inpatient, outpatient, and virtual programs across urban, rural, and frontier settings, with deep expertise in regulatory compliance, innovation, and workforce development. Dr Palakanis currently serves as the APRN Consultant and Investigator for the Nevada State Board of Nursing, the Medical Director for SISU and several other health care organizations, and maintains a private multi-specialty practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is widely sought after for her practical insights on nursing regulations, practice development, telehealth governance, and expanding access to care.
