From Concept to Clinical Practice: AI Applications in Infusion Therapy and Vascular Access
Includes a Live Web Event on 10/21/2026 at 1:00 PM (EDT)
Building upon foundational concepts, this session will explore real-world applications of artificial intelligence (AI) within infusion therapy and vascular access practice. Topics will include AI-enhanced clinical decision support, smart infusion pumps, chatbots, predictive technologies, workflow optimization, and the opportunities and challenges associated with bedside implementation.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, learners will be able to:
1. Identify current and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in infusion therapy and vascular access practice, including clinical decision support, smart infusion technologies, predictive tools, and workflow optimization.
2. Describe how AI-enabled technologies can support clinical decision-making, patient safety, and efficiency across infusion therapy workflows.
3. Evaluate opportunities, limitations, and implementation considerations associated with integrating AI-enabled technologies into bedside clinical practice.
